Part C – Medicare Advantage

Part C, also called Medicare Advantage, is sold by private health insurance companies and offers you all your Medicare benefits through one easy to use plan. Part C combines your Parts A&B medical coverage and often Part D prescription drug coverage into one health plan. Part C plans can also include valuable extra benefits, like dental vision and hearing coverage. The most common part C plans are HMOs and PPOs, similar in design to the group health plans we are used to.
