Original Medicare A&B
Original Medicare is the federal health insurance program for people who are 65 or older, certain younger people with disabilities and people with End-Stage Renal Disease. Medicare has helped millions of Americans pay for the health care services they need since 1965. Most likely you have already paid into the program through Social Security. Original Medicare is made up of two parts:
- Medicare Part A (hospital insurance)
- Medicare Part B (medical insurance)
